More Vanity Fair!

Today I just had to show you this super pretty skin from WoW Skins and super sexy dress from Sassy! that you can find at the Vanity Fair.   The Chara skin comes in several tones, three different make-ups and with the option for cleavage!  I simply adore the lips on this skin and how they seem to pucker up just a little, not only that but the face is simply gorgeous!  I’ve always had a thing for camo and when I saw this dress I knew I had to wear it.  Not only is it super sexy it also shows just enough skin that it’s not too over the top.  And those strings on the side, show me one man who won’t want to picture himself undoing those!  Of-course my mesh Jumper Boots from Deco were a perfect fit too.

Two more perfect fits for today’s look were the Urban style mesh bracelets from Luna’s Boutique and necklace/ring combo from Splash.  The bracelet comes in three different pattern choices overall, with each being equally as great and the necklace and ring come in four separate colors.  Both of these accessories  are also available at the Vanity Fair until August 11th!  I absolutely love this look and how easily it came together too!  Be sure to get your butts to Vanity Fair and do some shopping there is so much cuteness there it’s awesome!

Just a quick post to show you some of the fun, pretty or sexy things available at the Vanity Fair 2012 which runs from now until August 11th!  I decided to embrace my inner naughty girl today when I saw this shirt from Emporium and teeny mini from Splash, I simply couldn’t help it I’ve just been in a mood lately lol.  Such a dirty mood infact I went out and bought my first pair of super duper high platforms that are also the latest release from N-Core.  Also available at the fair is this beautiful Nadia skin from WoW Skins, it comes in three different make-ups and includes cleavage options.  It just went perfect with my overall look today and the face is so gorgeous!  So be sure to get down to Vanity Fair and check this event out!  And if you happen to be wondering, the shirt is a true statement!

Lazy Summer Days

Growing up close to the shore of Lake Michigan for a huge part of my life has left me with so many memories of fun, silly, lazy times down by the shore. One of my fave things to do was/is to take a walk along the water and watch the waves, I find it incredibly peaceful! The latest release from Medley would be a perfect fit for those cooler days or mornings especially when paired with my fave capris from Kyoot! The perfectly named Lazy Tee is mesh and comes in nine colors as well as several different sizes. As with any mesh be sure to demo before you buy to make sure it fits. Finishing off the look is the super cute mesh Sandcastle necklace and earrings from Intrigue Co. that is currently available at Collabor88. I absolutely adore this entire look so much, this shirt is just an example of why I love mesh so much!

Swimsuit, Mon Cheri?

So a few weeks ago I went on a hunt around the grid looking for some new swimsuits since most of the ones in my inventory I got ages ago and really need to be pitched, and will soon. That is when I found Mon Cheri and thier absolutely amazing suits! In my opinion they are the best I’ve seen on the grid, I absolutely adore the little details and how truely well made everything is. The last few days I’ve been listening to this song by Matt Nathanson over and over, so of-course that means I have share it with you! This song is just so sexy and reminds me of someone that’s very special to me. I can’t believe that August will be three years since we first met and through all the ups and downs we have come out being closer than ever. He’s truely an amazing guy and this song is for him. <3

Epic & What Next at ZombiePopcorn

The latest round of ZombiePopcorn Brand opened yesterday and I just had to show you some of the newness!  First we have the gorgeous mesh dress from Epic that comes in four different color choices and five different mesh sizes.  I instantly fell in love with the orange one, and decided to do something alittle different today and paired it up with the super fun eyeshadow from Blacklace Beauty(for the Make-Up & Tattoo Hunt),  bold lipstick from MONS, super cute necklace from TokiD and edgy hair style from Esk-imo (that you can currently get at Hair Fair)!

With my look finished I thought I could show off this super awesome and super bright cafe set from What Next!  It comes in three fabulous colors, pink, blue and orange and it a total of five prims!  The candles are seperate and are three prim each and where as the table and chairs are linked together the candles are not.  So you can have one, two, a ton or none at all!  This set is made for couples but can be used by individuals as well, there are plenty of male, female and couples animations and any props you might need are given to you when you click on the pose!  I think they are perfect for that summer party or for that pop of color in your SL home.

500L Avatar Challenge

Meet Addison! I took a look over at SL Blogger Support website to see what blogger challenges were going on and decided I would try my hand at the 500L Avatar Challenge that was started by Maribel Button.  The challenge runs from July 1st- August 8th with the objective being to create a brand new avie without spending more than, you guessed it, 500L!  Even though there is a prize awarded at the end I did it more to challenge myself and see if I could put together a great looking gal without spending a fortune.  I had so much fun doing this!  Having been in SL six years now it’s been a long time since I had to make an avie from scratch where I genuinely cared what she looked like lol.  Personally I think she came out lookin fan-freakin-tastic!!

There were two main sources I used for my search to find awesome, Harlow Heslop’s amazing Newbie Resource Guide and the SL Marketplace.  I tried not to cheat too much and didn’t want to use any of the reduced price events all over the grid that I knew about or run directly to where I knew of great freebies or sales since I knew most newbies would have no clue about any of that.  I will admit though I did know of the great skin package you can get from Cupcakes right now for only 50L.  You have the choice of three tones, with several tattoo layer options to change up your look, a shape, a mesh dress, bra & panties and a bikini all included.  It’s a perfect little started pack for someone new to SL.  I only used the skin from the pack though.  Besides the skin, I used Harlow’s guide, hunted around the grid or scoured Marketplace for the cheapest and best stuff!  I think I did a pretty good job and I’m considering trying another look using this same avie and possibly trying my hand at making shapes in SL since I love doing it!

Peace Out!

An earthy summer look of the day today with the help of the Whitehaven Beach dress from Kyoot and hair from Wasabi Pills.  The dress and the jewelry from EarthStones are both available at this month’s Collabor88, which is full of awesome beach inspired goodies.  My uber cute Zoey hair is one of Wasabi’s mesh offerings for this year’s Hair Fair 2012 and was a perfect balance for the sexy dress.  Lastly the One Voice Fundraiser to help Gala Phoenix of Curio is still going on and I have not been able to take this Gala skin from Izzie’s off yet.  I simply adore it, it is so stunning! Hair Fair Opens Tomorrow!

Yes!  Finally!  The year long wait is over and Hair Fair 2012 opens it’s doors tomorrow!  I was extremely lucky to be chosen as one of the bloggers that was able to hit the grid before the public to get a sneak peek and here are six of my faves!  There are four different sims all jam packed with amazing hair greatness to help raise money for Wigs For Kids!  I have to say I absolutely love the layout this year, it was so much easier to find your way around since everything was labeled so well and plenty of directions are given!  I just wanted to note that the first four hairstyles I’m wearing are mesh and the last two are not.  Also, the fedora, feathers, headbands and hairclips(not shown) are all color or texture change by HUD or by clicking on the item!  I know most of you are super excited to get there and grab up all the hairs and I hope you have a fabulous time doing so, just be sure to do all you can to try to keep that lag monster  under control! One Voice Fundraiser – Look Two

The One Voice Fundraiser is well underway and  has already collected over $10,000 US to help Gala Phoenix of Curio Skins with her legal fees.  Seeing so many rally in the Second Life community to take a stand against something that is so wrong and to help out a fellow resident makes me happy to be a part of our little pixel world! It’s also a great reminder that we are all human’s behind these avies and should take care of one another and support one another instead of trying to tear each other down.   Today’s post is full of more awesome goodies that can be found at the event!  Almost everything I’m showing you can be found there with 50%-100% of all purchases go to the cause!

One of the few things not from One Voice is the Globes pose set from Sparrowtree Studios that will be available for only 10L as part of the Seraphim Turns 1 Hunt that starts on July 15th.  The pose prop is 35 total prim and includes 9 different poses, several sitting and several standing.  It is so worth the 10L and makes me excited to see whatelse other stores will have available for the hunt as well!  Happy Shopping!
