Garden Newness At Immerse

Immerse has a new fabulous spring time release called Maple Green which is perfect for almost any yard or garden.  The super pretty light wood set is copy/mod and can be mixed or matched to fit your vision.  There is also a bridge that is part of this set that is not shown.  The swing, pillows, picnic table and chairs are all filled with lots of single animations and the swing also includes couples animations.  Since it fit so well with this set I included the new Poet’s Bench from What Next that comes  with a texture change HUD and it’s own set of special single and couple animations as well as add on props.  As always, just click the pics for a larger view.

A Quick Sunday Post

Super quick post today to show you newness from Cynful and the Emmy skin that you can get from Cupcakes for today’s Lazy Sunday.  The dress comes in so many different colors it was hard to choose which one to wear and the super pretty skin comes in two tones, with or without cleavage and four eyebrow colors. I finally managed to get into the massive Truth hair sale by tping to the Truth District sim and camming over to shop from there.  I had bought this hair ages ago in black and forgot I had it, so today I got it in red and can’t believe how gorgeous it is.  Hope you all had a great weekend!

Spring Flowers

Hello All!  Just alittle mishmash of newness to show you today.  The jewels are from Pure Poison and a perfect compliment to this gorgeous dress from Lassitude & Ennui.  Adam and Eve have two special versions of their Bethany skin out at the latest round of My Attic, there is a fall version and also the spring version which I’m wearing.  The first skin I ever wore in SL was from Adam and Eve so wearing this takes me back.

On a side note of sorts, this is the first picture I’ve done with the latest Firestorm viewer and I’m just amazed.  With this version I’m able to set my graphics to sit between high and ultra and also set my resolution for my pics higher than I normally do since this version took care of those ugly black lines.  I’m not sure if anyone else will see a change, but I saw a vast difference in the quality of this pic compared to my older photos.  It is leaving me excited to see how much I’m improving personally and to see what I might come up with in the future.

Camouflage at Perfect Wardrobe

I’m sure you could imagine my excitement when I found out that Perfect Wardrobe had a whole theme dedicated to camouflage, so of-course I had to head right on down and take a peak.  I wanted almost everything they had but did limit myself.  I did pick up the tank/shrug combo from Corvus, Camo eyeshadow from Izzie’s and Camo Nails from :FY:.  The nails and shadow come in a pack of several colors all for only 95L each.

I’m sure you have also heard that Gos released new flip flop add-ons over the weekend for his flat mesh feet, if you haven’t then you must be living under a SL rock.  I have been waiting for these since the mesh feet were released and as soon as notice went through the group chat that they were in store I ran down and snatched the fatpack.  I’m so in love, they are just fantastic and come in so many colors.  Keep in mind you do need Gos’ mesh flat feet in V2 for them to work but are worth every penny when you think that his feet/shoes come with that fabulous skin matching system.

A Garden Wedding

I absolutely love weddings, I know many people complain about them, but for some reason I just love them.  I think it’s the fact that despite my somewhat touch exterior I’m actually a helpless romantic and a huge softie on the inside.  So you can imagine how excited I was to see this cute Garden Wedding set from L&K Prefabs that you can currently get at the first round of  The Garden.  Luckily for me I’ve run out of space on my parcel of land so I could not buy all the awesome that I saw there, truly a furniture lovers dream come true!

This beautiful rustic wedding set comes with the most of what you see.  The chairs come in four different colors and two styles,  the Bamboo Sofa comes in both with or without the blanket and the fence comes in with four different pieces so that you can personalize it to fit your needs. Actually everything is copy/mod so you can make it just right to fit your own personal vision.  For finishing touches I used the super cute Hearts on a String from 22769 and texture change Party Lanterns from Lisp both also available at The Garden.

My post today is to show you the super cute top from Somnia called Kawaii Comfort.  It comes in a pack of eight different colors and I’ve loved it so much I have worn it for several days now.  It also gave me reason to finally buy a pair of the shoe/legwarmer combos I’ve been admiring at Blueberry for awhile.  You can wear the legwarmers and sneakers together or separate and you know how I love that!

Don’t Trust Her Sweet Face

The Whore Couture Fair has ended but Whore Couture Monthly is back and Sassy! is one of the sponsors and for the first round they put out the Lick Me Vinyl top that comes in all sorts of yummy colors.  If you want to get the Bite Me Vinyl pants or Spank Me Vinyl skirt to match those are now available at the mainstore.  A new round of TDR Fusion also started and happily they had a new skin for me to pick up and which I just love, it also couldn’t have been a better fit for this outfit.  My other love has to be the newish release from Lelutka, Dolce.  I finally went out and did such much needed hair shopping the other day and was thrilled when this wild mane looked so fabulous on me!  I have to say even though I don’t wear things like this very often since it’s far out of my comfort zone, after wearing this for a day I rather fell for it’s edgy rocker sex vibe.

I’m super excited to show you some newness today from L&K Prefabs who have just done a huge new release  for their new installation at Kitten’s Heaven Cafe.  For the first week, which started on Thursday 11th until next Thursday all these new items will be available only at this location, then it will be available at their mainstore also.

The super cute little April Shed comes in two versions with or without baked shadows and is 100% mesh, is only a 7×7 footprint and has a very low land impact of only 28 prim.  Even though I’m sure it could be used as a shed or greenhouse I thought it was perfect to turn into a quaint getaway or could be the perfect house for someone who has just a small plot of land.

Most of the goodies inside can also be found at L&K Prefabs like their awesome Jared Couch, Ladder Lamp or Liz Fridge.  The couch, fridge, table, cupboard and skateboard shelf are all texture change and the cupboard and skateboard shelf both come in an empty version or with items attached.

Other newness are the Kitsch Wall Plates  and Hello Pallet from Floorplan and Stacked Coffee Table from A.D.D. Andel.  I ended up loving this so much I kept it up for several days after and lived in it!

New Collabor88, Elymode For Pose Fair & My 10 SL Firsts Meme

Hey there, today’s post is to show you just some of the fun and awesome newness that you can get at the latest round of Collabor88.  I’ve been going nuts for some shorts/capris and summery tops and happily the designers really delivered.  My super cute poses today are from Elymode and available at Pose Fair for just a few more days.  It comes with six poses all together (mirrors included) and also a lunchbox that you can color change. There is also a lunchbox gacha machine that gives you a chance to win other boxes such as the Sakura Blossom box that I have here.

I decided to take a stab at Strawberry Singh’s lastest meme since I figured it would be a fun trip down memory  lane and give you alittle more insight into the blogger behind the blog.

My 10 SL Firsts Meme

1. First SL Friend: I would have to say Misty Harley who I met in my first few months in world at The Shelter.  We were both newbs trying to find our way around and she seemed to be the only one to ever try to offer me help when most of the old timers couldn’t seem to be bothered.  We seemed to hit it off and were friends for a long time until we had a falling out that was unfortunate and mostly based on  miscommunication.  I still miss her friendship till this day and hold no ill feelings against her.
2. First SL Kiss: Sighs, Dreucel Divisadero was my first kiss and the one who started me down the path of romantic entanglements in SL.  Before him I always managed to keep men at arms length but there was a chemistry between us that I just could not resist.  One night at the end of September 2006 he took me to see my first live performance in SL and while we listened to Lyndon Heart sing, he leaned over, took my hand and kissed me .  Damn could that man emote.
3. First SLex time/place/partner: This would go to Dreucel Divisadero again because that kiss quickly turned so electric we couldn’t fight it for very long.  Just being near him or him entering a room would make me feel sparks.  So, I’d have to say beginning of October 2006 would have been the fateful night.  He ended up breaking my heart, but after some time we did manage to repair our friendship and even though we haven’t talked in a long time  his number is still in my phone and his face is on my RL Facebook.
4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: My first boyfriend, then partner, then finance would be Matthew1 Mathieson.  A guy I had been dating suddenly vanished and showed no signs of returning and a friend of mine forced me out and over to The Shelter to be around people.  That was the first time I met him, I was so drawn to him I had to send an IM (something I don’t do often) and we had a nice chat.  Eventually we met again and talked and after some bumps I TPed him to a show I was at and within a short time we fell hard for one another.  I have to say from beginning to end our relationship lasted roughly three months perhaps slightly more (good ole SL) when I broke up with him a week before we were suppose to get married so that I could follow my heart to be with someone else.  That was probably the most foolish thing I ever did in my SL, not only did I break his heart but I lost one of the very few people that mattered most to me.  To this day I miss him and wonder where he is and how he is.
5. First SL Job: I mentioned this one in another meme I did.  It was the first and only job I’ve ever had in SL, being a cage/table dancer at a club.  I want to say it probably only lasted two months, but was so much fun and I enjoyed hanging out, dressing sexy and flirting with the boys.  After the owners got involved with some asshats I quit and decided that working in SL wasn’t for me.  Although I still think about becoming a creator, I never get far enough to make it a reality.
6. First SL Creation: I took a class in my early days of second life and learned how to make a fireplace.  I had a lot of fun doing it and actually used that fireplace in my first few homes way back in 2006.  After that class I took several more on how to make earrings and even how to make a flexi cape.  If nothing else it was a great way for me to learn how to use my editing tools better to move stuff around.
7. First Encounter with a Linden: I’ve never personally met or talked to a Linden before, I think I’ve seen one around, maybe, but never actually formally met one.
8. First Encounter with a SLebrity: Oh wow, I’d have to say the first time I sent an IM to Digby Smalls to tell him how great a job he did on one of his sets, we started chatting here and there and eventually he found his way on my friends list.  Even though we did chat and sometimes banter during his shows and I sexually harassed him endlessly during them too, I never quite got over his being this amazing sorta performer.  Cheesy I know.
9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: It’s name was Moonlight Salsa and Romance and it was a sim that was attached to the sim that I rented my home on for a  long time. There was a gorgeous waterfall, formal dancing place, wedding location and just little places to sit and relax.  You could go into the waterfall to all these little hideaway spots, but my fave spot was a little corner of the sim that had meditation pillows and I would sit there and listen to the wind chimes and watch the water flow by in the river.
10. First SL Blog Post: Ugh, do I really have to show this? Keep in mind I had NO clue what I was doing and no idea about how to get shadows or how to do windlight or anything, but here goes.  I personally think I’ve come a long way. http://camisstyle.wordpress.com/2011/11/18/this-is-my-first-post/
