Day Out

I fell in love with this dress from Decoy the moment I saw it at Fameshed.  It’s that kind of easy summer dress that I simply adore and could own in every color but settled on my fave, red.  After looking for the right accessories and failing, Maxi Gossamer released this amazing set at Collabor88 Summertime Easy Living which turned out to be just perfect.  I chose the black/red texture and the different brightly colored beads was just the pop I needed.  What better hair with an easy dress than a simple quick updo like the one from D!va that you can get from C88 as well.  It has clips in the back that you can wear in different colors or that you can remove completely.  After I finished getting ready I grabbed one of my fave bags from my closet, the Elephant bag by TokiD and headed out to meet the gals for lunch and a bit of shopping!

Camouflage at Perfect Wardrobe

I’m sure you could imagine my excitement when I found out that Perfect Wardrobe had a whole theme dedicated to camouflage, so of-course I had to head right on down and take a peak.  I wanted almost everything they had but did limit myself.  I did pick up the tank/shrug combo from Corvus, Camo eyeshadow from Izzie’s and Camo Nails from :FY:.  The nails and shadow come in a pack of several colors all for only 95L each.

I’m sure you have also heard that Gos released new flip flop add-ons over the weekend for his flat mesh feet, if you haven’t then you must be living under a SL rock.  I have been waiting for these since the mesh feet were released and as soon as notice went through the group chat that they were in store I ran down and snatched the fatpack.  I’m so in love, they are just fantastic and come in so many colors.  Keep in mind you do need Gos’ mesh flat feet in V2 for them to work but are worth every penny when you think that his feet/shoes come with that fabulous skin matching system.

Sassy Sez!

Sassy! is taking part in the Gacha Carnival with the super cute Sassy Sez Tops that come in eighteen different fun sayings.  I wanted to wear all of them but finally settled on “Handle With Care” carefully scrawled across my boobs, because it was telling me to pair it up with my camo capris and how could I not do that? New Collabor88, Elymode For Pose Fair & My 10 SL Firsts Meme

Hey there, today’s post is to show you just some of the fun and awesome newness that you can get at the latest round of Collabor88.  I’ve been going nuts for some shorts/capris and summery tops and happily the designers really delivered.  My super cute poses today are from Elymode and available at Pose Fair for just a few more days.  It comes with six poses all together (mirrors included) and also a lunchbox that you can color change. There is also a lunchbox gacha machine that gives you a chance to win other boxes such as the Sakura Blossom box that I have here.

I decided to take a stab at Strawberry Singh’s lastest meme since I figured it would be a fun trip down memory  lane and give you alittle more insight into the blogger behind the blog.

My 10 SL Firsts Meme

1. First SL Friend: I would have to say Misty Harley who I met in my first few months in world at The Shelter.  We were both newbs trying to find our way around and she seemed to be the only one to ever try to offer me help when most of the old timers couldn’t seem to be bothered.  We seemed to hit it off and were friends for a long time until we had a falling out that was unfortunate and mostly based on  miscommunication.  I still miss her friendship till this day and hold no ill feelings against her.
2. First SL Kiss: Sighs, Dreucel Divisadero was my first kiss and the one who started me down the path of romantic entanglements in SL.  Before him I always managed to keep men at arms length but there was a chemistry between us that I just could not resist.  One night at the end of September 2006 he took me to see my first live performance in SL and while we listened to Lyndon Heart sing, he leaned over, took my hand and kissed me .  Damn could that man emote.
3. First SLex time/place/partner: This would go to Dreucel Divisadero again because that kiss quickly turned so electric we couldn’t fight it for very long.  Just being near him or him entering a room would make me feel sparks.  So, I’d have to say beginning of October 2006 would have been the fateful night.  He ended up breaking my heart, but after some time we did manage to repair our friendship and even though we haven’t talked in a long time  his number is still in my phone and his face is on my RL Facebook.
4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: My first boyfriend, then partner, then finance would be Matthew1 Mathieson.  A guy I had been dating suddenly vanished and showed no signs of returning and a friend of mine forced me out and over to The Shelter to be around people.  That was the first time I met him, I was so drawn to him I had to send an IM (something I don’t do often) and we had a nice chat.  Eventually we met again and talked and after some bumps I TPed him to a show I was at and within a short time we fell hard for one another.  I have to say from beginning to end our relationship lasted roughly three months perhaps slightly more (good ole SL) when I broke up with him a week before we were suppose to get married so that I could follow my heart to be with someone else.  That was probably the most foolish thing I ever did in my SL, not only did I break his heart but I lost one of the very few people that mattered most to me.  To this day I miss him and wonder where he is and how he is.
5. First SL Job: I mentioned this one in another meme I did.  It was the first and only job I’ve ever had in SL, being a cage/table dancer at a club.  I want to say it probably only lasted two months, but was so much fun and I enjoyed hanging out, dressing sexy and flirting with the boys.  After the owners got involved with some asshats I quit and decided that working in SL wasn’t for me.  Although I still think about becoming a creator, I never get far enough to make it a reality.
6. First SL Creation: I took a class in my early days of second life and learned how to make a fireplace.  I had a lot of fun doing it and actually used that fireplace in my first few homes way back in 2006.  After that class I took several more on how to make earrings and even how to make a flexi cape.  If nothing else it was a great way for me to learn how to use my editing tools better to move stuff around.
7. First Encounter with a Linden: I’ve never personally met or talked to a Linden before, I think I’ve seen one around, maybe, but never actually formally met one.
8. First Encounter with a SLebrity: Oh wow, I’d have to say the first time I sent an IM to Digby Smalls to tell him how great a job he did on one of his sets, we started chatting here and there and eventually he found his way on my friends list.  Even though we did chat and sometimes banter during his shows and I sexually harassed him endlessly during them too, I never quite got over his being this amazing sorta performer.  Cheesy I know.
9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: It’s name was Moonlight Salsa and Romance and it was a sim that was attached to the sim that I rented my home on for a  long time. There was a gorgeous waterfall, formal dancing place, wedding location and just little places to sit and relax.  You could go into the waterfall to all these little hideaway spots, but my fave spot was a little corner of the sim that had meditation pillows and I would sit there and listen to the wind chimes and watch the water flow by in the river.
10. First SL Blog Post: Ugh, do I really have to show this? Keep in mind I had NO clue what I was doing and no idea about how to get shadows or how to do windlight or anything, but here goes.  I personally think I’ve come a long way. http://camisstyle.wordpress.com/2011/11/18/this-is-my-first-post/

Happy Spring!

Or Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate the holiday.  Hubby, kiddo and I celebrated yesterday with her waking up to find that the Easter Bunny had been to visit while she slept and she had a blast finding eggs all over the house and going through her basket of goodies.  Then we headed out for a Easter Breakfast followed up by the coloring of eggs.  It was so much fun watching her get excited over everything and it turned out to be a wonderful relaxing family day.

Now on to the fabulousness.  The second I slipped on the new Jenny dress from Immerse I fell in love.  It just screamed spring and I knew it would be a perfect fit with the new hair from D!va that you can still find at Collabor88.  What better way to enjoy a spring day then to swing away your cares and with the new Tree Swing Prop from What Next that you can currently find at Pose Fair that is easy to do.  The swing comes with eight different poses and the Jenny dress comes in two other dress patterns, Pink Leaves and Lilac Garden.  Since I think I’m finally about done with my front yard I took these pics outside my home, granted after I finished taking the pics I did go out and buy more/different trees and made a few more changes lol.  Time for me to hop on outta here, happy shopping!

Senzafine & Pure Poison For The SL Buddy Walk

Today I have more goodies to show you from theSL Buddy Walkthat is a fantastic event to raise awareness/money for the National Down Syndrome Society.  From Senzafine we have this super cute top and skirt set that can be worn together or apart.  I adore the texturing on the skirt so much and I adore the super long sleeves on the top.  A perfect fit with the outfit are the earrings from Pure Poison that come in an assortment of colors and with the option of gold or silver metal.

Collabor88 and Izzie’s for Skin Fair

Most of today’s look I found at the latest round of Collabor88.  Since I’ve been working around my house so much I was in the mood for something laid back and casual and these awesome shorts and tucked in tee from (fd) were perfect.  Giving it a bit of sweetness is the Camera Necklace from Yummy and Red Panda Bag from Miamai(@ The Arcade).  Also from C88 is my short due from Tableau Vivant.  Being a fan of short hair I just had to demo it and fell in love, it’s similar to the style I had/have in RL when I can get it done just right.

From Izzie’s we have the simply gorgeous Asia skin that you can currently get at Skin Fair which comes in five tones and also a special Ginger Pale tone.  As with all Izzie’s skins each tone or fatpack includes the Asia body shape, Eyebrow shape, nail base for prim nails, options for cleavage and four eyebrow shades (blonde, dark, light brown and red).  Also included in each tone is three eyeliners, six eye shadows and six lipsticks.  In my photos above I went with Asia in Dark brow Medium with green shadow and rose lipstick.

Immerse Yourself

Lilly Juno has recently re-branded her well known furniture store Prism Furniture into new store  Immerse and will now be featuring both furniture and clothing.  Her first fashion release is the absolutely gorgeous Eden gown that in my opinion is just breathtaking in it’s simplicity. Where Is He?

Lately I find myself in the mood to dress up more and wear heels and dresses.  I’m not exactly sure why this is, but if I had someone to take me dancing I would probably be decked out in a formal gown or two lol.  I fell in love with these bandage dresses from Ricielli that you can find for two more days over at TDR Fusion.  You have the choice of three different color packs and I went with pastels since I just love the softness of them.  Then, as I’m sure you have probably heard GOS did a huge foot and shoe release this past weekend and I could not stop myself spending lindens on so many fab shoes.  Besides the incredible mesh feet I do not want to take off I found that perfect nude colored heel I’ve been dreaming about for so long.  The actual color on the box is tan, but for me it was the perfect shade of nude that will just go with anything, just  like this dress.

My Beautiful Balloons

As a kid my uncle gave my brother and I this old record player.  It was for kids and used to belong to my older cousins, it didn’t have many records with it, but we were little so it was so cool to us.  There was one song I played over and over again, partly because I loved it and then it became more about tormenting my younger brother who didn’t.  Awwwww I was such a good big sister.  Well anyway that song was “Up Up and Away” by Fifth Dimension, yeah I clearly just dated myself.  For some reason this pic and the awesome Room of Balloons from Exposeur and The Loft  just reminded me all about that song.  You can get the room at the latest round of Collabor88,  my super sexy dress from Hucci at Fameshed and wonderful shoes from Just Designs.  Hope you having a great weekend!
