The Challenge is back for it’s third round with it’s super fun theme of Underwater. I was curious to see what the designers would come up with for this round and their creativity did not let me down. From 22769 there is the fun Starfish Hammock that comes with several single animations and also couple animations. I’m showing you the version with the stand but it also come without the stand so you can hang it from a tree or porch if you want. From [breno] there is the awesome Sushi set and from [hate this] there are the cute Underwater Pals that come in an octopus, shell and a dead fish (not shown). Super quick post today to show you newness from Cynful and the Emmy skin that you can get from Cupcakes for today’s Lazy Sunday. The dress comes in so many different colors it was hard to choose which one to wear and the super pretty skin comes in two tones, with or without cleavage and four eyebrow colors. I finally managed to get into the massive Truth hair sale by tping to the Truth District sim and camming over to shop from there. I had bought this hair ages ago in black and forgot I had it, so today I got it in red and can’t believe how gorgeous it is. Hope you all had a great weekend!

I fell in love with it’s sensual curves, very low cut back and how the fit was so perfect. After I put it on I didn’t want to take it off and spent the day roaming the grid in this gown, I felt so amazing and elegant in it. I intended to get this post out yesterday but got so caught up in all the awesome Valentine gifts and goodies around the grid I sorta got distracted. Then when you factor in I had a spark of decorating creativity in my home I decided that it was OK to get the post out today instead. Mon Cheri just did a big February release inspired by Valentine’s in the form of jersey dresses, mini skirts, cropped shirts, tights and jeggings. Have no fear though, not everything is in pink and red with hearts and even things with hearts can be worn anytime you are in the mood to feel cute. Several of my accessories came from the PurpleMoon Creations Cherries Hunt that was going on for the second time this year. It’s such a fabulous little hunt that is always filled with lots of awesome red items which a red lover like myself adores. Lastly two of my fave new hairs are both from Truth, one for this round of C88 and the other available at his mainstore. Tenille with the hair bow is just the sweetest ever and one I see myself wearing often. Today I will leave you with one of my fave Cure songs Friday I’m In Love, enjoy and happy shopping!
Week five of the 50 Shades of Sexy Challenge is all about Bad Romance, ya know, the Lady GaGa song, and for whatever reason this idea just stuck with me. I decided to check out the Jack or Jill Hunt and loved this suit from Sakide that is their gift for the hunt. It comes in the darker tone that I am showing and also a lighter tone, as well as shoes. The vest and pants are both mesh and can be worn separately or together and you know how much I love that. Cupcakes just released their gorgeous new skin Emilia and even though it changes my face a bit I love it. Emilia comes in five tones with ten makeups in each tone, with four eyebrows colors included in each(black, blonde, brown, red); I’m wearing Nutmeg which is the darkest of the five tones with the face highlight. There are also so many other extras included with the skin, beauty marks, freckles, multiple cleavage options, face shadow/highlight, blush, brows and under eye creases. To customize even more you can choose from four different lipstick packs sold separately in glow, gloss, glitter gloss and matte. Meet Addison! I took a look over at SL Blogger Support website to see what blogger challenges were going on and decided I would try my hand at the 500L Avatar Challenge that was started by Maribel Button. The challenge runs from July 1st- August 8th with the objective being to create a brand new avie without spending more than, you guessed it, 500L! Even though there is a prize awarded at the end I did it more to challenge myself and see if I could put together a great looking gal without spending a fortune. I had so much fun doing this! Having been in SL six years now it’s been a long time since I had to make an avie from scratch where I genuinely cared what she looked like lol. Personally I think she came out lookin fan-freakin-tastic!!
There were two main sources I used for my search to find awesome, Harlow Heslop’s amazing Newbie Resource Guide and the SL Marketplace. I tried not to cheat too much and didn’t want to use any of the reduced price events all over the grid that I knew about or run directly to where I knew of great freebies or sales since I knew most newbies would have no clue about any of that. I will admit though I did know of the great skin package you can get from Cupcakes right now for only 50L. You have the choice of three tones, with several tattoo layer options to change up your look, a shape, a mesh dress, bra & panties and a bikini all included. It’s a perfect little started pack for someone new to SL. I only used the skin from the pack though. Besides the skin, I used Harlow’s guide, hunted around the grid or scoured Marketplace for the cheapest and best stuff! I think I did a pretty good job and I’m considering trying another look using this same avie and possibly trying my hand at making shapes in SL since I love doing it!
