Was just in the mood to wear all black.  Yes red is my favorite color, but I have a special fondness for black that goes back to all my years working tech in theatre.  It has always been my favorite neutral.

Vintage Fair Preview #1

Vintage Fair 2012 is almost here!  The big day is August 4th and runs until Aug 29th showcasing over 250 different brands and their visions of vintage fashion!  This year’s sponsors are Aura, Belleza, Cheeky Pea, ColdLogic, GizzA Creations, Indyra Originals, oOo Studio, PurpleMoon Creations and Trompe Loeil residing on three well thought out  and awesome sims! A good place to start is at this TP Location on the North Retro sim but a list of all the direct slurls and maps of all three sims are available at  the Chic Management Website!

This is my first look from Vintage Fair, my first group of favorites that was inspired by this gorgeous dress from DCNY and necklace from Ingenue.  Both were simply love at first sight!   I’m a huge fan of cherries in rl so the necklace was a must have for me.  The dress from DCNY is actually a mesh skirt and top made of system layers, so there is the possibility of wearing the pieces separately if you wanted. I adore this entire look and the sweet innocence of it, much like that of times past.

My Attic Is Back!

My Attic is back!  Since it became an instant fave of mine after the first round I have been waiting and watching for it’s return!  Just like the first time I wanted to buy all the things but settled for just a few, atleast to start, lol.  Today I’m showing you the Lace-Up Dress from one of my long standing fave stores DCNY.  I’m showing you the gown, but it also comes with a short dress option too, and of-course comes in several different color choices, I went with mint for something alittle different. Two of my other instant loves from this round were the skin from Ploom and hair from EMO-tions.  The hair is so pretty and different but only comes in black, which worked for me,  and also comes with a texture changing flower.  Last but not least is the gorgeous skin from Ploom named Lea.  It comes in five different skin tones and with the choice for dark or light brows as well as cleavage.  This  round of  My Attic runs from May 21st – May 31st and all items are only 95L!  So waste no time and take your direct TAXI to get all the awesome!

Week Seven – Folly!

When I first saw the color for this week I had a mixture of excitement and eek, in the end though it turned out to be super fun finding something cute. Since it’s not a color I normally wear I had to actually buy something this time around, but, I’ve set limits for myself that I will try not to buy anything for the challenge and if I do it will have to be something I will wear again. What gal doesn’t need a sexy little set like this to wear around the house especially in this hot shade of pink? It was perfect for a lazy Sunday lounging around the house…or for checking the mail! Before signing off I have to mention that I am in love with this new mesh hair from Exile. I will be honest and say I’ve never been a fan of thier hair before now, but I think mesh is going to change that for me if they keep coming up with such incredible styles! I don’t plan on taking this hair off for awhile so I’m sure it will be blogged a lot in the upcoming weeks!

Week Six -Alice Blue!

I love this color, so soft and pretty, just that little touch of color.  Luckily this week was super easy compared to last week’s patina!  I absolutely love this dress and haven’t worn it in a few years; The feather detail is incredible!  Like so many of us I’m all about getting out there and finding newness all the time, but there is something to be said about a well made and well loved favorite!
