Skin Fair 2013: Mirror’s Enigma

Hello Lovelies! Today I have another preview from Skin Fair to show you of the gorgeous Medow from Mirror’s Enigma. Not only does Medow come in three regular skin tones Light, Peach and Tan it also comes in three fantasy skin tones Ebony, Dusk(blue) and CFire(red).

Each skin tone comes in five make-up options with the fantasy skins coming with one extra make-up option. With each tone you get several choices of eyebrow colors, with or without cleavage, Tango Appliers as well as the Medow shape. I also can’t forget you get a bonus pair of eyes with each tone as well. If I had to pick one thing I love most about Medow is the shape of her nose. There is something about the shading that gives my usually rough looking honker such graceful edges. I also have to admit that even though I’m not into fantasy skins all that much myself I fell in love with CFire despite myself and think it’s so breathtaking in it’s reddish hue.

Cozy & Comfy

The last few days I’ve been working on putting together my winter home to hopefully have it done by the start of December.  It’s a great cabin, with falling snow outside, so I’ve been in the mood to wear nothing but super comfy and snugly clothes while I work.  So I decided not to fight it and just do a post wearing something that fits that mood perfectly.  You can find the sweet hair,  awesome New York shirt and eight pose chair all at the Around The World event and the super sweet necklace at the Unhinged event.  The eyes are new from Mayfly and probably the prettiest grey eyes I’ve found so far.

Singing In The Rain

Hello!  So today’s look was inspired by the new comfy mesh  loose sweaters from NiNi Creations and amazing new Wellies from .Evolve.  These boots come in several different colorful patterns and are so adorable!  The ladies sweaters also come in several different colors and mesh sizes.  This rainy day was brought to you by the incredible Happy Umbrella by Blow-Up.  I’ve never seen such a great umbrella before, not only does it come with the option to change every detail by colors, patterns, fabric but you also can choose if you want it open or closed or to rain or snow!  Yes you can make it rain or snow!  It’s so much fun nothing like alittle dancing or singing in the rain to make your day better!

I have been a HUGE fan of Gene Kelly as long as I remember and to this day my fave movie is still Singing In The Rain.  The man was just amazing, crazy talented and an inspiration to me, I really can watch him dance for hours!

Enjoying Fall

Hey there!  Just have a LOTD that I put together with several things that I love but haven’t had a chance to wear yet.  A relaxing look that captured the spirit of a fall day while out picking pumpkins and drinking hot apple cider.  It also gave me a chance to take some pics in my Turnips Autumn Skydome while playing around with the new Pumpkins poses from aDORKable that you can get at The Arcade and putting more little touches to my cabin.  I’ve always wanted to decorate for fall in SL and this is the first year that I’m getting to do so. It’s been so much fun for me and I keep finding more and more little things that I want to add!

The Arcade, .evolve. & tres blah

Today’s look is in thanks to the amazing new Fade mesh skirts by .evolve. Since I love a good short skirt and adore argyle I knew that I just had to wear it.  I’m wearing it in grey so that I could also wear my fave new sweater from tres blah that is available at this round of Collabor88 but you can also get the skirt in brown, cyan, navy, plum and rose.  All the colors are fabulous and perfect for the upcoming fall months.  The Preppy Sweater comes in several colors and in versions with and without the blouse, I went with the blouse because it’s perfect for that sweet school girl look. 

In my last post I mentioned my addiction to The Arcade gacha and how I’ve spent so much time looking for the things that I loved.  Well, all my accessories today are from The Arcade and I adore them all.  If you haven’t been to the event yet you must get your butt down there, everything is so incredible and there is such a large variety of things there is something for everyone!  Two of my top faves from the event are the Cherry Rare Flats from Ingenue and Vintage #19 ring from ShakeUp!

Be Lazy With .evolve. and Prism Furniture

And when I say be lazy I mean that in the best way, because I am in love with the newness from both .evolve. and Prism Furniture.  Since mesh hit the grid I have been waiting for someone to make a great yoga pant and .evolve. delivered exactly what I wanted.  They come in six different colors, cream (shown), black, baby blue, grey, navy and pink.  I couldn’t even decide which one I wanted to wear for my blog because I love them all, and find myself wearing them everyday at some point inbetween blog outfits.  Nothing paired better with the pants than the mesh Lazy Tees also from .evolve.  They come in a variety of sayings and I picked my fave one in navy to show you.  This is the best oufit for relaxing in or running around the grid shopping or hunting! 

Now the perfect chair to be lazy in is the new Summer Time Blues chair from Prism Furniture.  It’s copy/mod and only comes in the one color right now, but I hope Lilly makes more of this chair in many other colors because it’s just fantastic.  As soon as I rezzed it I knew it was perfect and I adore all ten animations in it, especially the one that I’m using above called What A Day.  It’s low prim and the perfect little addition to any home.

Vintage Fair Preview #3

The big day is finally here!  The wait is almost over!  Vintage Fair opens in just a few hours at 4pm slt!! Before it does I just had to show you a few more of my faves from Evolve, coldLogic, ChaChaDee and Bent!  From Bent we have the incredible stairway Escher prop that comes with over 20 different poses and is copy/mod.  Even though the dresses represent different eras they both are made of mesh and come in a variety of color or pattern choices.  The perfect pairing for the Brady dress were the super nifty 70s shoes from ChaChaDee that I simply adore.  I was in love with both of these looks!  The fair is filled with so much awesome this year that you simply can’t and don’t want to miss it!  Just remember that, like with all big events, try to do your best to keep the lag monster to a minimum and most of all have fun!  Remember there are three different sims to choose from and you can get a map of all three along with direct slurls at the Chic Management site! Evolve By The Sea

Today I have some summer sweetness to show you from .evolve., beautiful jewlery from Mustang Trading Post and gorgeous new eyes from Mayfly.  First are the dresses from .evolve that are both Rare winnings for the Summer By The Sea Gacha Festival that is currently going on.  Each try is 35L, with two different gatcha machines to choose from, one with brights  and the other naturals.  Besides these dresses you can win super cute mesh tops in the machines, which I hope to show you in an upcoming post, since I simply adore them too!

Just a super quick post to show you the absolutely adorable new Clementine dress from Evolve that you can get from The Fashion Cache this week!  It is mesh, comes in several sizes and three different patterns which happened to be named after song titles of one of my fave bands Counting Crows!
