Luna’s Color Challenge – Shuttle Gray

Since I have tons of gray in my inventory I knew I’d find a shade close to Shuttle Gray somehow, but I had no idea I’d find this simple but sexy dress from Aura.  Not only did I finally get the chance to wear this little number but I also got to wear my new boots from N-Core and my new hair from Exile which I think is the sex.  Next week is Thistle and I’m already worried about that one hmmmm.

Week Sixteen – Bright Turquoise

Today is nothing but turquoise for me, and by that I mean nothing but my jewelry.  I wanted to wear something sexy and since nothing I had in my inventory was sexy and turquoise I decided to just strip down this week and keep it super simple.  Next week is Shuttle Gray.

Whew! I’m still managing to keep up with the challenge and haven’t fallen behind once! Go me!  Today I have nothing new and nothing mesh, I just have a pretty dress I found buried in my inventory completely unopened! It’s so pretty and so summery, it was also the perfect shade of peach for today!  So glad for this challenge helping me find some lost gems in my inventory!  Next week is bright turquoise.

Luna’s Color Challenge – Royal Purple

I know I know I’m probably taking some liberties with my choice this week, but I just had to wear this super pretty dress from 1 Hundred that you can currently get at the last (sniff sniff) Fashionably Late. It was just so girlie and springlike and fit my mood perfectly and I think the purple of the flowers was pretty spot on colorwise. Well that’s my story anyway and I’m sticking to it!

Tea Green!

I love this color so much and was so excited to see it as our color for this week.  Since I don’t have much green in my inventory, let alone this color, I had to actually go out looking.  That is where I fell in love with this new dress from Boom!  This was one of the first to rez for me on that huge magnificant wall of colors and patterns that she has for us to choose from!  After looking at them all and comparing them to the swatch Luna gave us, I came back to this one and without even trying on a demo I bought it and ran home to put it on.  Some are saying they don’t like the “huge” butt on this dress, but I say to them try it on!  You have to, it makes your butt look so fabulous, but then I always have a bit of a curvy butt even without mesh.  Even better?  Normally I have to wear a medium but with this dress I could wear a small! Woot!  Next week is Royal Purple and I’m excited!

St. Patrick’s Blue

I absolutely loved the color this week, it’s so gorgeous and a shade that looks great on me, and many others I should add!  Digging through my inventory I found this recently purchased bodysuit from Snatch that I had just been waiting for the chance to wear!  It was also about time to throw alittle sexiness into this blog and this did the job perfectly imo.  I’m also wearing the awesome Grey’s eyeshadow from Acid & Mala, that comes in different variations of eyeliner and grey shadow; and is available at The Grunge Soul Project

Week Eleven – Aquamarine

For this week I settled on the new Hucci Romper available at Collabor88!  I love how it has that 70′s vibe to it and I can remember my friend’s mom running around in these all the time when I was little, while she tanned her leather skin, chain smoked and had a steady supply of booze handy.  Oh yes those were the days lol.  I also wanted to show off the new Lisp Tree Bench, which is also available at C88!  When I saw it I just snatched it up, and was so happy when the small version fit perfectly around my corkscrew willow tree in my front yard!  I am always so amazed at the things Pandora Popstar is coming up with, so unique and different!  Joining me today was my good buddy Hershey, who I have had for years.  He used to belong to me and my SL ex, but I got him in the divorce hehe!  I think it’s clear to see he is loving his new home as much as I am!

Week Ten…Avocado!

Can’t believe we are already on week ten of the color challenge, I have been having so much fun doing it and have really enjoyed seeing what everyone else has been coming up with week after week.  Some people just amaze me with thier creativity!  This week was probably the easiest for me since the first week, I had lots of avocado in my inventory thanks to Janie Marlowe and her first brand Mischief and her current brand Jane!  Even though I bought the top and skirt a few years ago, I still loved it when I pulled it out and it is one of those examples about how great craftmanship can stand the test of time!  This color also has me craving avocado in the worst way, it’s so good on a sandwich or as guacamole!

So, I’m thinking I might have went alittle brighter than the swatch, but once I remembered this outfit in my inventory it was hard to forget about.  I was also in a blonde mood for some reason, why I’m not sure, but I just had to wear this hair in blonde.  My guess is I just needed something cute, breezy, easy and warm…like spring!

Week Seven – Folly!

When I first saw the color for this week I had a mixture of excitement and eek, in the end though it turned out to be super fun finding something cute. Since it’s not a color I normally wear I had to actually buy something this time around, but, I’ve set limits for myself that I will try not to buy anything for the challenge and if I do it will have to be something I will wear again. What gal doesn’t need a sexy little set like this to wear around the house especially in this hot shade of pink? It was perfect for a lazy Sunday lounging around the house…or for checking the mail! Before signing off I have to mention that I am in love with this new mesh hair from Exile. I will be honest and say I’ve never been a fan of thier hair before now, but I think mesh is going to change that for me if they keep coming up with such incredible styles! I don’t plan on taking this hair off for awhile so I’m sure it will be blogged a lot in the upcoming weeks!
