Getting Comfy

Lazy Days

We all have them, days when we just want to be lazy and regroup, and that is just how I have been feeling lately.  What better way to chill around the house then in a baggy mesh long sleeve tee from Chronokit with your hair all pulled back in the latest mesh style from Wasabi Pills?  Being lazy and relaxed doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish at the same time!  Wasabi does it again with this incredible new style, again I just ran down and bought, no demo, and it was worth it.  The bandana comes with a HUD for texture change options and goes with so many of the new spring styles currently hitting the grid.  Then be still my heart, the meshy yummy goodness that is this baggy striped tee from new to me store  Chronokit.  Not only did they have this tee but lots of other awesomeness to be had, for both women and men.  I’m excited to see what other stuff will be coming our way from them.  Last I’m sporting some light colored eyes today from Mayfly which also happen to be new too! 

I don’t know about you but when I’m feeling in a funk or just like I need alittle inspiration I turn to music to help me.  Yesterday I listened to this song by my all time fave band The Killers, Joyride.  I just love the lyrics and I also love to go out driving to clear my head.  This also goes out to My Kimbra, no matter what she is always there for me. <3

Tea Green!

I love this color so much and was so excited to see it as our color for this week.  Since I don’t have much green in my inventory, let alone this color, I had to actually go out looking.  That is where I fell in love with this new dress from Boom!  This was one of the first to rez for me on that huge magnificant wall of colors and patterns that she has for us to choose from!  After looking at them all and comparing them to the swatch Luna gave us, I came back to this one and without even trying on a demo I bought it and ran home to put it on.  Some are saying they don’t like the “huge” butt on this dress, but I say to them try it on!  You have to, it makes your butt look so fabulous, but then I always have a bit of a curvy butt even without mesh.  Even better?  Normally I have to wear a medium but with this dress I could wear a small! Woot!  Next week is Royal Purple and I’m excited!

Meshy Happiness!

Today my look is all about mesh, from head to toe! The boots from G Field are an exclusive at the Fashion for Life event and the tunic dress is a new release from coldLogic! From the upcoming L’Armoire event is this amazing trunk bag which is probably my fave piece of the first collection; I’m also sporting more fabulous mesh jewelry from Maxi Gossamer. Last but not least I am trying my hand at mesh eyes for the first time today from Mayfly! Although I don’t see a huge difference from the regular eyes, I do think they have a tad more pop and look alittle more realistic, and for the price I think I will stock up on a few other colors!

Mesh In The Springtime

Spring is arriving at sims all over the grid, including the beautiful Izzie’s sim where I decided to take a bike ride around the lake.  It was simply so peaceful there (except for the capsized boat in the lake lol) and a perfect way to enjoy my day as well as this baggy tee from Jane currently available at Mesh Madness.  It’s so simple and easy I just love it.  Another one of those styles that seems questionable on the rack, but leaves no question about how great it is once you put it on.

The Madness Is Here!

As many of you know March Mesh Madness opened yesterday fill with lots of meshiness to be had by all!  I love events like this because even though I shop A LOT in SL they introduce me to places I’ve never heard of before.  Thanks to MMM12 I discovered my new fave jewelry store Gossamer Jewellry!  Not only is everything very well made and mesh, everything is also very affordable too!  I got multiple fatpacks for only 199L each! My other big faves at the event were the new hair from Wasabi Pills (that I’m wearing below) and also Jane, who had a whole new spring line for us to enjoy!  This dress caught my eye but I almost passed it by because on the hanger it didn’t look like much, but that all changed when I put the demo on.  It’s simply fabulous, so fabulous I had to run out and get it in red too!  The dress and hair most definately scream springtime and I found that the Alena skin from Al Vulo went so perfectly with it.  This was also the first Al Vulo skin that I could actually wear since in the past there was so much highlighting on the face it made me look just horrible.  I just have to ask though…am I the only one who thinks I look just like Shannon Doherty in it?

My Cynful Mesh Shirt

Now it’s no secret I love mesh, but I think the Joey shirt from Cynful has officially become my favorite mesh item in my inventory hands down.  Only to be matched by the hair I’m wearing from Wasabi Pills.  I think I would be content to live in this shirt for days at a time, and if you know me, I don’t tend to wear the same thing twice!  I’m wearing one of the three plaids you can get, but it also comes in tons of striped or solid color options!  If I could I would own one of each!

Week Seven – Folly!

When I first saw the color for this week I had a mixture of excitement and eek, in the end though it turned out to be super fun finding something cute. Since it’s not a color I normally wear I had to actually buy something this time around, but, I’ve set limits for myself that I will try not to buy anything for the challenge and if I do it will have to be something I will wear again. What gal doesn’t need a sexy little set like this to wear around the house especially in this hot shade of pink? It was perfect for a lazy Sunday lounging around the house…or for checking the mail! Before signing off I have to mention that I am in love with this new mesh hair from Exile. I will be honest and say I’ve never been a fan of thier hair before now, but I think mesh is going to change that for me if they keep coming up with such incredible styles! I don’t plan on taking this hair off for awhile so I’m sure it will be blogged a lot in the upcoming weeks!

As soon as I saw the color swatch on Luna’s page I knew exactly what I wanted to wear…my wide leg gray tousers from Jane. My Mesh Shirt

So Yesterday was one of those days, I spent all my time sitting in my SL cabin feeling uninspired and like staying in…well, that’s when I was actually AT the pc, which wasn’t really much. Then I remembered the new mesh shirt from Pepper and ran down to see what colors they had, and settled on the black/red one( I think there are eight other colors to choose from). It was exactly what I needed to capture my mood, something super comfy but also with that touch of sexy with it. I’m the type of gal who can appeciate a good plaid shirt in any life, and I think that Pepper did a great job with thier first attempt at mesh goodness!
