Raiding My Closet – Week Five

I’m back from my trip and decided to start off with the final week of the Raiding My Closet challenge. Since I left town last Tuesday I ran out of time to get it done so here it is a week late but hey atleast I can say I finished it. Another fantastic look put together with many things in my inventory I’ve never had the chance to wear. This pic was also taken on my hubby’s PC since mine decided it didn’t feel like working anymore upon my return. Raiding My Closet – Week Four

I’ve been having so much fun doing this challenge and I’m actually bummed that next week is already going to be the end.  Granted, I could continue doing it on my own from time to time, but in a way, it wouldn’t be as much fun.  Today’s look is the perfect reason to do a challenge like this!  I found this amazing little mesh dress from ISON tucked away in my inventory that I forgot all about. It sparked this elegant look in neutrals which I simply adore, and gave me a chance to wear some of the fancy baubles I own.  I do have to make one confession though and I hope I don’t lose too many points with my fellow bloggers doing this challenge, but, I forgot myself and used a pose I got from Exposeur that I picked up at Cinema after October 1st.  It wasn’t until after I had finished taking and editing the photo that I realized what I had done, but since I loved the finished product so much I just went with it.

BENT’s Cirque Dreams

Epic & What Next at ZombiePopcorn

The latest round of ZombiePopcorn Brand opened yesterday and I just had to show you some of the newness!  First we have the gorgeous mesh dress from Epic that comes in four different color choices and five different mesh sizes.  I instantly fell in love with the orange one, and decided to do something alittle different today and paired it up with the super fun eyeshadow from Blacklace Beauty(for the Make-Up & Tattoo Hunt),  bold lipstick from MONS, super cute necklace from TokiD and edgy hair style from Esk-imo (that you can currently get at Hair Fair)!

With my look finished I thought I could show off this super awesome and super bright cafe set from What Next!  It comes in three fabulous colors, pink, blue and orange and it a total of five prims!  The candles are seperate and are three prim each and where as the table and chairs are linked together the candles are not.  So you can have one, two, a ton or none at all!  This set is made for couples but can be used by individuals as well, there are plenty of male, female and couples animations and any props you might need are given to you when you click on the pose!  I think they are perfect for that summer party or for that pop of color in your SL home.

A Burst of Color

Just a quick post today to show you the latest and super colorful group gift by Hucci, the Cori Romper.  Going along with the boldness of the romper I chose the Sunburst jewlery set from Ear Candy that is available as part of the Accessories Hunt and the juicy new Paty lipgloss from Censored.  This is a bit out of my normal comfort zone but I figured nothing wrong with putting alittle fun and pop into one’s wardrobe.  Any of the three can make a statement on thier own but together you most certainly will not be missed in a crowded room!  And what can I say, the lip gloss became an instant fave and it makes me want to keep smacking my lips together hehe. *Smooches*

Perfect Pin-Up

The theme for this round of Perfect Wardrobe is 50′s Pin-up but I feel I might have stepped back alittle farther in time with this gorgeous dress/negligee from [A], skin from Izzie’s, necklace from Bliesen + MaiTai  and hair from EMO-tions.  All that was needed to finish setting the mood for a romantic night in was a piano, glass of wine and candle light.  I really did feel gorgeous and glamourous in this outfit and loved that I was able to show off all my real curves while still having the advantage of a mesh panel to finish off the look of the dress.  Now if only I had a sexy fella to play me some soft tunes as I just lay back and listen.  *Grins*

Tea Green!

I love this color so much and was so excited to see it as our color for this week.  Since I don’t have much green in my inventory, let alone this color, I had to actually go out looking.  That is where I fell in love with this new dress from Boom!  This was one of the first to rez for me on that huge magnificant wall of colors and patterns that she has for us to choose from!  After looking at them all and comparing them to the swatch Luna gave us, I came back to this one and without even trying on a demo I bought it and ran home to put it on.  Some are saying they don’t like the “huge” butt on this dress, but I say to them try it on!  You have to, it makes your butt look so fabulous, but then I always have a bit of a curvy butt even without mesh.  Even better?  Normally I have to wear a medium but with this dress I could wear a small! Woot!  Next week is Royal Purple and I’m excited!

Week Eleven – Aquamarine

For this week I settled on the new Hucci Romper available at Collabor88!  I love how it has that 70′s vibe to it and I can remember my friend’s mom running around in these all the time when I was little, while she tanned her leather skin, chain smoked and had a steady supply of booze handy.  Oh yes those were the days lol.  I also wanted to show off the new Lisp Tree Bench, which is also available at C88!  When I saw it I just snatched it up, and was so happy when the small version fit perfectly around my corkscrew willow tree in my front yard!  I am always so amazed at the things Pandora Popstar is coming up with, so unique and different!  Joining me today was my good buddy Hershey, who I have had for years.  He used to belong to me and my SL ex, but I got him in the divorce hehe!  I think it’s clear to see he is loving his new home as much as I am!

My ColdLogic Heart

*Sighs* I just got back into town after a long RL weekend with my family celebrating my little girl’s first birthday, and finally can get this post out to you. As most of you know, ColdLogic opened it’s doors and brought with it so much mesh fabulousness it was almost overwhelming. My favorite thing had to be the Joslin jumper! I saw the pic on the wall and proceeded to scan the store until I found it hanging there, almost as if it were calling my name. This is just another one of those styles that I adore but could never be done right in world until mesh. It just has that laid back sorta vibe that can be dressed up or dressed down for a trip on the town. All my accessories come from Glow and a past Dressing Room event and are an example of why I hold onto things sometimes even if I’m not sure I will ever wear them again. The earrings and necklace are gorgeous with this outfit and went so perfectly. The headband does also, the beautiful large flowers just adding that special something! (sorry I didn’t do the best job showing that off) I think it’s safe to say that this store is going to be one of my faves for a long long time and that I will for sure be blogging more items over the next few weeks!
