Week Three – Sexual Healing

The first thing most of us think of when we hear sexual healing is the song by Marvin Gaye, but for me it reminds me of my fave SL performer Digby Smalls.  This was a song that he used to do among other sexy or dirty songs on his playlist that I always loved hearing him sing.  His voice was like my drug, which could both melt me and heal me all at the same time.  He recently left SL and needless to say it left a bit of an emptiness for me, so many memories wrapped up with him, his shows, time with friends or just having a chat with him.  Luckily I do have him singing this song on an MP3 but it’s simply not the same as hearing him live.

I’ve also been in the process of moving in SL the last few days since I needed to downsize again.  I adored my half homestead but the tier was just too much, so I went back to my 4096 which did leave me sad. My friend Skeeve was nice enough to come over and help me move some boxes and then help me with a little something else that I needed done.  *Grins*

Rockin Some Medley Newness

Autumn Awesomeness

Since I have so much to share with you today I’m just gonna dive right in.  I’m gonna start with my LOTD which features two of my favorite things in both RL and SL, jeans and a baggy sweater.  As soon as I saw this fabulous sweater from The Secret Store I had to run down and snatch it up, it’s the kinda sweater I had just been waiting for someone to release and how perfectly it went with the new mesh jeans from ColdLogic. I have to say these are the first pair of jeans I’ve considered fatpacking in SL since I love them so much.  The gorgeous new Marise skin from Censored just helped me get that overall girl next door sorta look that I was going for. I mean don’t I just look so sweet? Hey, wipe that smirk off your face!  Finishing off my outfit is the super cute new short hair from Exile and earrings and nails from Izzie’s along with microphone ring from Pepper. 

From Prism Furniture I have the incredible Harvest Moon Gazebo, chairs, end table, butter churn and lantern.  Everything in this fabulous set is mesh except for the butter churn and lantern, is copy/mod and can be purchased seperately at the main store.  Since it’s mesh you do need to have a mesh enabled viewer to be able to see it properly. I have to say this is one of my absolute fave sets for the fall, it’s just perfect for kicking back and watching the leaves fall from the trees.STYLE CARD:

My Blue Monday

A Fashion Cache Full of Dresses

More Medley & Lots of Newness!

Just a quick post today to show you a super cute outfit I put together using more awesomeness from Medley and newness from Ploom, G Field and EY:NO!  Today I decided to be a redhead, not a huge stretch for me since way back in the day I used to wear either black or red hair all the time, mind you not this red.  Since Ploom gave me the option of an essentials pack I took it and went for something different.  Yes, I was just in the mood to be different and try something a tad out of my normal comfort zone and dare I say it turned out to be one of my absolute fave outfits!  I love everything about this outfit, everything, but I have to give special mention to the Will boots from G Field.  I normally don’t buy fatpacks, but, in this case I did and I’m so happy about it!  Not only does the fatpack make more sense than buying individually (atleast it did for me since I wanted six out of the ten pairs), since it’s HUD driven I can make so many different combinations with the boots its unbelievable!

Lazy Days

We all have them, days when we just want to be lazy and regroup, and that is just how I have been feeling lately.  What better way to chill around the house then in a baggy mesh long sleeve tee from Chronokit with your hair all pulled back in the latest mesh style from Wasabi Pills?  Being lazy and relaxed doesn’t mean you can’t be stylish at the same time!  Wasabi does it again with this incredible new style, again I just ran down and bought, no demo, and it was worth it.  The bandana comes with a HUD for texture change options and goes with so many of the new spring styles currently hitting the grid.  Then be still my heart, the meshy yummy goodness that is this baggy striped tee from new to me store  Chronokit.  Not only did they have this tee but lots of other awesomeness to be had, for both women and men.  I’m excited to see what other stuff will be coming our way from them.  Last I’m sporting some light colored eyes today from Mayfly which also happen to be new too! 

I don’t know about you but when I’m feeling in a funk or just like I need alittle inspiration I turn to music to help me.  Yesterday I listened to this song by my all time fave band The Killers, Joyride.  I just love the lyrics and I also love to go out driving to clear my head.  This also goes out to My Kimbra, no matter what she is always there for me. <3

A Medley of Newness

So much newness today I don’t know where to begin! First is the new Kalle hair from Truth, when I saw this style I just went to the store and bought it, no demo, just bought. It was so amazing in the pic I knew I had to get it. Kalle comes in two bang options, with root options and has a color change band, simply love it’s mix of messy yet controlled style. Next is the new Name necklace from Pepper! When I got the group notice this morning I decided to take off the necklace I was going to wear in this post and instead where this. You can personalize each of the six blocks on the necklace with either letters or symbols. I went with my name, since it made the most sense, but if I’m ever in a mood I can change it to something not so nice lol.

Lastly is this awesome new dress from Medley, a store I learned about from my most fabulous friend Kimbra! All she had to do was say the magic word mesh and I was there to check it out! So much cool newness I couldn’t believe it! This dress was by far my fave, it comes in red(shown) as well as tan, eggplant, blue and black and costing only 249L! I do need to say be sure to demo since it runs alittle small (I’m wearing the large) but I love that I can have my boobs much closer to normal in this dress than I can with most mesh. Finally I just have to mention my fave lipstick from Acid and Mala yet again, since I did a close up of it today, this time in red. I love the gloss factor on it as well as how plump and luscious my lips look when I have it on. I would recommend trying to get them in every color if you can!

Give Back My Wallet!

I wish I could say someone stole my SL wallet and spent all my linden, but, the sad truth is I willingly spent lots at Truth District all on my own!  Hey, I told you sales were my weakness!  Everything I’m wearing today I got there half off except for nails, skin, belt and earrings!  Even then those four items were all discounted too at other places!  See, you can look fabulous in SL and not spend a fortune…unless you are me then you just buy even more, which in turn still costs you a fortune lol.  I absolutely love this entire outfit, which all sorta came together on it’s own.  Wish I could point out one fave thing I have on, but honestly I love everything, so I will have to fave it all!

My Mesh Shirt

So Yesterday was one of those days, I spent all my time sitting in my SL cabin feeling uninspired and like staying in…well, that’s when I was actually AT the pc, which wasn’t really much. Then I remembered the new mesh shirt from Pepper and ran down to see what colors they had, and settled on the black/red one( I think there are eight other colors to choose from). It was exactly what I needed to capture my mood, something super comfy but also with that touch of sexy with it. I’m the type of gal who can appeciate a good plaid shirt in any life, and I think that Pepper did a great job with thier first attempt at mesh goodness!
