50 Shades of Sexy – Pillow Talk

Today’s post is combining several different things all into one.  First is week nine of The 50 Shades of Sexy challenge called  Pillow Talk.  Since pillow talk can mean so many different things to so many people in this modern age of ours I went with one that many online couples share, chatting online till the wee hours of morning.  I know I’ve been there in the days when my hubby and I first met online, eventually moving to the phone since it was just easier for both of us.

Collabor88 and Izzie’s for Skin Fair

Most of today’s look I found at the latest round of Collabor88.  Since I’ve been working around my house so much I was in the mood for something laid back and casual and these awesome shorts and tucked in tee from (fd) were perfect.  Giving it a bit of sweetness is the Camera Necklace from Yummy and Red Panda Bag from Miamai(@ The Arcade).  Also from C88 is my short due from Tableau Vivant.  Being a fan of short hair I just had to demo it and fell in love, it’s similar to the style I had/have in RL when I can get it done just right.

From Izzie’s we have the simply gorgeous Asia skin that you can currently get at Skin Fair which comes in five tones and also a special Ginger Pale tone.  As with all Izzie’s skins each tone or fatpack includes the Asia body shape, Eyebrow shape, nail base for prim nails, options for cleavage and four eyebrow shades (blonde, dark, light brown and red).  Also included in each tone is three eyeliners, six eye shadows and six lipsticks.  In my photos above I went with Asia in Dark brow Medium with green shadow and rose lipstick.

She’s A Pillar By The Day, A Fire By Night

Hello Lovelies!  Yes I’m alive and doing good, I’ve just been taking a semi blogging break this past week which may continue for another week or two.  I found that my SL had become, once again, nothing but constant blogging which led me to feeling some burnout.  I’ve been spending most of my time in world working on my new parcel of land and reworking/decorating my home.  I’m falling in love with it this time around and find it to be so fantastic and cozy!  I’m even debating taking some pics of it when I’m all finished.

I simply adore today’s look.  It’s so girlie, sexy and modern all at the same time.  The amazing skirt is from The Sea Hole for the Arcade which I paired with the sheer top from Sassy!  that you can currently find at Whore Couture Fair.  Since it was so sheer I found the super sexy bra/panty set from new-to-me store Countdown that was the perfect cut and fit with this top.  They look like they were made for one another!  Since I was able to get my hands on the gorgeous Truth Video Games hair from the Arcade in red I simply had to wear it and luckily it went great with the Ramona Al Vulo skin.  I’m simply digging on Al Vulo and their skins these days, especially the Ramona that has been available at TDR Fusion. Tonight I have some fabulous newness from Immerse and from the latest round of  The Arcade.  Lilly did it again with this amazing Eiikiis dress, I’m in love with the cutouts in the sleeves and the way the top and skirt fits perfectly.  I’m wearing Vamp but it also comes in a large variety of color combinations.  From the Arcade I’m wearing just a few of my faves that I picked up, hair from Truth, sunglasses from Baiastice and necklace from Maxi Gossamer.  Helping me show it all of is the Rare Shopping Spree pose from Adorkable that is also at The Arcade right now.

My Footie Pajamas

One of my favorite things to do in RL is read, there is nothing like curling up with a good book and hot cup of coffee on a cold snowy or rainy day.  Yes when I say book, I mean an actual book made of paper pages and a cover, not that there is anything wrong with tablets( I actually own a Nook) but there is an experience you get with a book that you can’t without it.  So I guess then it’s no surprise that I love to read in SL, I’ve always had reading animations and make sure to have a special little corner I can go to and relax.  Last night I decided to slip into my reindeer footie jammies, grab some hot cocoa and snuggle up by the fire for a read in my bedroom.  My idea of a peaceful winter night.

Winter Frost

I’m so excited for today’s post, I don’t know what to talk about first, my outfit or the furniture!  Ok, guess I’ll go with my outfit.  After a day of feeling all black, I had a day where I wanted to feel light and airy and it was so easy to do with this fabulous newness from Sassy, DeeTalZ and Exile.  I’ve been waiting for someone to make great hat hair and Exile delivered this week in the form of three different styles, all mesh and all beautiful.  Then DeeTaleZ released a whole line of tights in so many colors and styles which got me so giddy because I love tights and except for Izzie’s I haven’t seen many tights I adore so much.  Sassy made my day with these gorgeous mesh dresses that come in a variety of colors that keep you both warm and sexy at the same time. You can currently find them at the Frost event.

Now for my gorgeous surroundings.  When I saw previews for the Winter Pavilion from Second Spaces I knew I had to have it, it’s just what I wanted for my own winter wonderland and was also for a great cause. You can find it at the Together For Sway event and comes in the choice of a concrete floor or a wooden one.  I went with wood and made a few changes to it to make it more me.  It comes with the lights rugs, books, couches(not shown), coffee mugs(not shown), and it’s own art work.  Most of my personalized extras come from What Next but I also have the fantastic Scrabble game from Apple Fall that also comes from the Together For Sway event and adds that perfect touch to any space.  The Together For Sway is a wonderful benefit event for the designer of Sway’s, Sway Dench. A Touch Of Green

Today’s look is all about newness from Geometry in the form of this pretty sweater called Cozy.  I wore it in green, which is a color I don’t wear often but I adored this shade and it brought out the color of my favorite Mayfly eyes so I could not pass it up.  I paired it up with the new comfy leggings from Piccara for Winter Fair which I love because they are mesh and I could still wear them with mesh boots.  Yay for layering!  My soft look is thanks to this gorgeous Glam Affair skin for the With Love From Hunt and adding that touch of sparkle is the equally gorgeous necklace from Cae and nails from Shock.

“Merry Christmas” Letters: Dreamscapes Decor

So excited because one of my long time favorite stores, Pixel Mode, is releasing some new awesome for us today,  the new Audrey Wedges and Sami Suede Skirt!  The well detailed skirt is mesh, comes in many different colors and of-course many sizes.  The gorgeous shoes come in two variations, leather and gloss, with several colors choices in each.  You can purchase the shoes individually, in a fatpack for just leather or just gloss or one complete fatpack with all.  The shoes are non rigged mesh so with just a click you can use the very detailed sizing guide that lets you size by width, height and length.   There is also a  HUD which comes with many skin textures to choose from and wedge options to change the heel, toe cap and trim.  I am wearing the white leather wedges with black trim.  Finishing off my look today are some goodies I picked up at The Arcade and a super cute new group giftie from LeeZu.  Hope you all have a great Monday!

I’m getting so excited because two of my favorite events will soon be  hitting the grid!  One is the With Love Hunt that starts on November 30th and the other is the second round of The Arcade that starts on December 1st!  I’m already scrapping my lindens together to get enough to hit the machines on opening day, because like every other shopaholic on the grid I will have to get everything all at once!  However, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the complete outfits that Mon Cheri has done for The Arcade.  I’m wearing #3, the red one, but it also comes in five other colors with each outfit coming with different colored cardigans, boots, shirts and shorts so you can mix and match together or use with other outfits.  I’m madly in love with the cardigans that drape so lovely and have a hood on the back, I think they will become a staple in my everyday winter wardrobe!
