Winter Fair is Open

I find myself rather busy in SL the last few days so this is going to be a quick post to let you know that Winter Fair is now open and will run for two weeks.  There are so many incredible things to be found there to fill your closets with  lots of winter goodness. I’m wearing the shirt/vest combo from Intrepid that comes in several color options and which I absolutely love.  Prism Furniture also has some holiday goodies out now at the store like the Snowy Lamp Post and Bench, both copy/mod and perfect for anyone’s home.

I’m getting so excited because two of my favorite events will soon be  hitting the grid!  One is the With Love Hunt that starts on November 30th and the other is the second round of The Arcade that starts on December 1st!  I’m already scrapping my lindens together to get enough to hit the machines on opening day, because like every other shopaholic on the grid I will have to get everything all at once!  However, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the complete outfits that Mon Cheri has done for The Arcade.  I’m wearing #3, the red one, but it also comes in five other colors with each outfit coming with different colored cardigans, boots, shirts and shorts so you can mix and match together or use with other outfits.  I’m madly in love with the cardigans that drape so lovely and have a hood on the back, I think they will become a staple in my everyday winter wardrobe!

Cozy & Comfy

The last few days I’ve been working on putting together my winter home to hopefully have it done by the start of December.  It’s a great cabin, with falling snow outside, so I’ve been in the mood to wear nothing but super comfy and snugly clothes while I work.  So I decided not to fight it and just do a post wearing something that fits that mood perfectly.  You can find the sweet hair,  awesome New York shirt and eight pose chair all at the Around The World event and the super sweet necklace at the Unhinged event.  The eyes are new from Mayfly and probably the prettiest grey eyes I’ve found so far.

Feeling A Bit Red

Today was a redhead kinda day, filled with sass up to my eyeballs and the shocked faces of some new friends to prove it lol.  My hair, eyes and skin are all from Amacci for the Around The World event and all fabulous.  The hair and eyes come in a huge variety of colors and the skin comes with many make-up options as well as additional lipsticks, the choice for with or without teeth and lots of cleavage or even less.  My boots are from Lassitude & Ennui and are gacha items for the Unhinged event, while my awesome jewelry is from Maxi Gossamer at the latest round of Collabor88.  Lastly from Cynful we have a newish release, the casual V-Top that is partial mesh, comes in many colors and also has boobie appliers you can buy.

Get Unhinged With Pixel Dolls

Yesterday started a wonderful fundraiser called Unhinged for Eku Zhong who needs surgery to replace a bone in her skull with a prosthesis.  The event runs until December 15th and includes so many incredible designers taking part, for more info on this event and on Eku herself head on over to the Unhinged Website.  One of those amazing designers is Pixel Dolls which also happens to be a long time favorite of mine.  Back in my early days of Second Life I think I owned almost everything they released, so I was so thrilled when I opened up a box from them and found this gorgeous dress inside.  It’s a remake of one of her fave dresses with in typical Pixel Doll style includes all sorts of options. For the skirt you have five options of Pencil(shown), Mini, Full, Column or Bell and you have two options for the top a sexy V-Neck (shown) or a higher neck that includes a collar.  All the attachments are mesh with the top and bottom being basic pant and shirt pieces, which I love because then you get to show off your own measurements while still enjoying the perks of mesh!
