Hair Fair, ColdLogic and Collabor88

Hard to believe but Hair Fair 2014 will be ending tomorrow, so if you haven’t been over to check out all the fantastic styles you better do so!  This year I know I didn’t do many specific Hair Fair posts but I think I’ve worn nothing but hair I got  there over the last two weeks with all my looks.  Today’s will be the last, the super sweet Mary hair from Ink.  I wore it with the new Swinton dress from Coldlogic and other goodies I found at Collabor88.   I can’t even tell you how much I adore this dress, it’s the type of dress I just love to wear in the summer, so easy and effortless.  One that can be dressed up or down and good for so many occasions.  It was also a perfect match with the new jewelry from Mandala that you can find at C88 along with the fantastic sandals from Pure Poison.  I know I’ve blogged the Glam Affair Kallisto skin from C88 a few times but I just had to blog this particular makeup since I just fell in love with it the first time I wore the demo.  It’s not something I would normally go for, but for some reason, this time I just could not ignore the iridescent beauty of it.  The equally beautiful Arcane eyes are from Buzzeri which I have blogged before, but this time I had to show you in another color, this time Jade.

It’s Not My Time To Wonder Why

Don’t Let My Sweetness Fool You

I had so much fun putting this post together!  Not only did I get to showcase some amazing new Home & Garden goodies for you but I also got to use the incredible Femme Fatale items from Plethora.  The revolver I’m using comes with seven poses built in and you can rotate through with just a click.  New Blown Away hair really helped add that little bit extra to my pose, since the hair itself is gorgeous.  I only wish that the hair came with the option to wear on both the right and left side giving you even more options.  Then there is the furniture.  Incredible new vanity from What Next that comes with texture change options and little pretties to help you decorate and fantastic new bed from DIGS that comes with so many texture options as well as in PG and Adult versions.  I also can’t forget Collage’s new Looking Glass Mirror and Beach Wood Tea Lights that helped give my room that extra something.  For a larger more detailed view just click the picture and I hope everyone is having a fab week!

That’s What Friends Are For

I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to finally get to do a blog pic with my closest friend in SL, Kimbra.  We met so many years ago over our shared love of The Killers and from there a wonderful friendship grew.  She was/is one of the best DJ’s ever, my music guru, she’s the reason I took a chance at blogging, I think she is absolutely incredible and she probably has no idea how much I admire her, love her and what an amazing person I really think she is.  We could not be more different, yet so much alike…One friend I can always count on to have my back no matter what.  I’ll stop the sappy stuff and just let you look at the pic!

The Short of It

Good Sunday Morning my lovely readers!  Today I have goodies from Cae and Hair Fair 2014 to share with you.  From Cae we have the super pretty Soleil set that you can find at the mainstore for a reduced cost the rest of today for The Dreaming Tree event.  After the event, the set will still be available but will be at full cost.  The set includes a hud that gives you options for gold or silver metals, various pearl stones and also for you to resize if needed.   From Hair Fair I have two fabulous short styles to show you, one fun and flirty look from Lamb and a more sexy and sleek style from new to me store Elua.  I adore both of these styles so much and when I put them side by side doing pics, even though they are from two different creators, I could see both these styles being made by the same person with a one hair cut. That made me love these styles all the more and since I have short hair in RL it was nice to see some sexy short styles for women that were still feminine.

Cowgirl For A Day

It’s here! Hair Fair 2014 will be opening it’s doors today to the public!  I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek yesterday of this amazing event that helps raise money and awareness for Wigs For Kids and is packed with so many talented designers.  It was hard to pick the one hair I wanted to show first but I finally settled on the fantastic new cowboy hat from Argrace that comes in the long hair style and also a side ponytail.  The hat also has a hud to change details and if you get the hat at the fair you also get a free gift of even more hat colors.  As we all know Hair Fair will be packed and hard to get into so to help get your shopping started sooner and in the comfort of your own little place you can join the Hair Fair Demo Group.

My outfit today is thanks to Tres Blah and Yummy both that can be found at Collabor88.  Being an elephant lover you can imagine how excited I was to see the new Elephant Cuff from Yummy for a mere 88L that comes in a solid gold version as well as a white/gold version.  I was equally excited when I saw the new shirt and shorts from Tres Blah since this is a look that I love and with so many color options the toughest part was deciding which color to pick first.  The shirt also comes with a hud that allows you to change the texture of the under tank or if you prefer remove it all together.  Also found at C88 is newest skin from Glam Affair called Kallisto and I can honestly say I love this skin so much.  I think it makes me look a tad more mature but super sexy at the same time.  I’m also wearing the brand new Exotic tone which is darker than my normal tone Jamaica but so absolutely gorgeous I can’t help but consider wearing it more often.  It comes in eight make up tones and since it is a new tone Didi includes appliers for Slink hands/feet and Physique in each makeup option.  Kallisto also comes in the Asia tone this round so for those who love the lighter tones there is an option for you.

Even thought Rhapsody ends today I still had to show you the Country Girl pose pack from Embody that you can find in the Country section of the event.  The pack includes five poses and also includes the guitar to go along with three of those poses.

With so many events going on and finishing up that means there is lots of shopping to be had so get out there and get it done!
